About Me
Antonella De Avila is a senior at Edwardsville High School. Antonella is involved in various clubs and activities. She is president of Spanish Club and is also a member of National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and National English Honor Society. Antonella is also very involved with the community as she volunteers for Key Club, an organization that specializes in creating a fun and safe environment for kids with disabilities. While those are only some of her activities, one of her favorite activities to do in her free time is podcasting with the Tiger Talk Network. Antonella is also a dancer and she dances at Rena’s Dance Unlimited. After high school, Antonella is going to major in Architecture and hopes to one day have her own company.

Antonella De Avila is the proud designer and creator of GlossyX Nails; DIY Press-On nail manicures that can be applied anywhere for a convenient, salon-quality look. GlossyX Nails are reusable, unique, and custom made for every customer so that a person can look fabulous for their special event. Antonella handcrafts every nail set and also custom size orders to fit a client's nail shape and nail beds. She was inspired to create this business out of her passion of doing nails and hopes to earn her nail tech license in the future. After graduating, Antonella plans to attend SEMO (Southeast Missouri State University) and double major in interior design and communications. From there, she plans to take her NCIDQ Exam so that she can own her own design firm in the future.
