About Me
Andrew is a senior at Metro East Lutheran High School. He plays on the football team, baseball team, and the band, playing saxophone at his school. He’s a captain on the football team and is also a member of National Honors Society. During his free time Andrew loves spending time with family and friends, playing frisbee golf, and going fishing. He also loves his job at Walmart and working with a local contractor in Edwardsville over the summer. After high school, Andrew plans on going to SIUE and getting a degree in construction management. He’s excited to see how CEO will broaden his perspective on entrepreneurship and help him make connections in the community.
About My Business
Andrew Adams is the founder of First Throw, selling disc golf starter kits to beginners at the game. These kits include the discs that are needed to play along with a towel, scoresheet, and a booklet guide for beginners. His love for the game led him to want to share it with others, helping people learn the rules and where to play around the local area. His business is promoted on the @first.throw.starter.kits instagram page, along with word of mouth and the people he knows. In the fall, Andrew plans on going to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for construction management, where he will continue to develop his entrepreneurial mindset.
