About Me

Claire Johnson is a senior at Edwardsville High School. She is a cheerleader on the EHS Varsity Cheer Team and is entering her 6th season dancing competitively at Studio E Dance. Claire is very passionate about leadership and is currently serving her 2nd term acting as the student representative to the District 7 Board of Education also acting as president of the District 7 Student Advisory Board and as an officer on the NEHS advisory council. At school, Claire is an active member of NHS, Rotary Interact Club, The Mind Matters Club, and HOSA. Claire is also heavily involved in her community through service and advocacy. Claire represented team Glowing for Good as a Student Visionary for Blood Cancer United in its 2026 fundraising cycle where they raised nearly $75,000 for blood cancer research. Additionally, Claire enjoys volunteering with seniors at Main Street Community Center in Edwardsville. After graduation, Claire plans to attend a respected university where she will major in cellular and molecular bioengineering. Claire is excited to seize the opportunities that the CEO program provides to further her knowledge of professionalism and create lifelong connections with her community.
