Katherine Greer

About Me

Katie Greer is a Senior at Father McGivney Catholic High School. At school, she holds several leadership positions including Assistant House Captain of Faith Formation, House Leader, National Honor Society Committee Head, Co-Captain of the Announcement Team, and Assistant Freshman Girls Volleyball Coach. Katie stays involved in several other extracurricular activities, as well, including Science Club, Spanish Club, Drama Club Crew, and her role as Team Manager of Varsity Girls Basketball. Katie works in the Recreational Sports Department at the Edwardsville YMCA where she enjoys reffing, running sports camps, and gaining coaching experience. Outside of school and work, Katie enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Katie is very dedicated to her family, faith, and friendships and is lucky to have grown up in an environment that fosters these values! After high school, Katie plans to attend college to double major in Elementary Education and English, with a possible minor in Spanish or Theology. Katie joined the CEO program to grow in her leadership skills and for the real world experience gained from this class. She is excited to grow as a leader, an entrepreneur, and a person. She can’t wait to establish community connections and make new friends throughout this program.  She is so grateful for this amazing opportunity and everyone who has made the Edwardsville CEO program possible!
