𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭! 📍🏃‍♂️📸

Today’s classroom looked a little different as our students hit Downtown Edwardsville for the 𝑪𝑬𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆!!

Yes, there were plenty of laughs along the way — from striking a Rocky pose on the courthouse steps 🥊 and reenacting Titanic at the Wildey 🎬 to confident runway walks, one-take commercials, and even a few questionable dance moves. 😂
But behind the fun was a purpose.

Our students were challenged to 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝑬𝑶 𝑾𝑶𝑾 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅:

🤝 Give a five-star CEO handshake
💬 Introduce themselves to local business owners and community members
❓ Ask an entrepreneur what they wish they knew before starting their career
❤️ Find a way to unexpectedly make someone’s day better
📣 Create a commercial for a Main Street business
🏘️ Ask longtime community members, “What makes Edwardsville special?”
🤝 Work together, problem-solve, communicate, and step outside their comfort zones

𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕.

And you don’t learn about community from inside four walls. You get out and become part of it.

A little competition. A lot of teamwork. And a whole lot of CEO WOW. ⭐
