My name is Rick Marteeny. I’m a local State Farm Insurance agent in Edwardsville, IL.
I live in Glen Carbon with my wife Chery and our dog Oscar. We have two children, Carter (25) who is a commercial real estate broker and CEO program mentor, and my daughter Cami (20) who is a sophomore psychology major at the University of Missouri.
I’ve been involved with the Edwardsville CEO program for the past 6 years as an investor, guest speaker, and board member.
I’ve been excited to serve the CEO students and our local community through this unique program. Helping young entrepreneurs develop the confidence to start a small business, learn how to develop real world communication skills, and to create unique marketing strategies is at the heart of why I invest in CEO.
In addition to my CEO board involvement, I am also active as a board member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, active in our local Edwardsville Rotary Club, a member of the Glen Ed Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of Metro Community Church in Edwardsville.
I am excited to continue serving the students and facilitators of the Edwardsville CEO program.
